Fungus & Infections of the Nail
Problem:
Fungus has become a generic term for infestations of the nail plate. However, medical studies show that only 6% of cultured, infected nails show only fungi present on the nail plate. Ninety-four percent of the time, a combination of microbes (germs) are present on the nail plate.
The body's natural immune system is yeasts (fungi) and bacteria that keep each other in check; for example, we understand the results of taking strong or prolonged antibiotics. Antibiotics also kill off the beneficial bacteria that keep the yeast (fungi) in check, resulting in an increased yeast level (yeast infection)
The opposite can happen on the nail. If we were to kill of the beneficial fungi, naturally occurring bacteria can thrive, transitioning the problem from fungi (yeast) to bacterial.
Solution: Poshe' Anti-Microbial BaseCoat & Anti-Microbial Cuticle Oil

For best results use a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent, to cover a wide range of organisms; yeast, fungi, mold and bacteria.
Directions: Apply Poshe' Anti-Microbial BaseCoat, followed by fashion color (if desired) and Poshe' Super Fast Drying TopCoat. Reapply Anti-Microbial BaseCoat over polish every 1 to 4 days. Remove polish completely every 7 to 14 days, as needed and repeat procedure.
Massage Poshe' Anti-Microbial Cuticle Oil over and around nails every day, for broad spectrum protection and moisturization.
Helpful Hint:
If redness, inflammation, swelling and /or pain exist, consult your physician. This can indicate a systemic infection, which cannot be treated by topical applications.
Always use anti-microbial products until the entire nail plate has grown out. |
